Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson Talk New Movie and Their Sons’ Future

Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson share two things in common which are motherhood and entertainment! At the New York Press junket yesterday, both superstars shared details on their upcoming film, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete , and also suggested it would be great to see their sons join forces with other notable celeb kids to form a super group inHollywood. Go #TeamMom!

The superstar moms listed out some celeb kids’ names who they believe could possibly join the band:Pharrell’s son Rocket and, of course, Beyoncé and Jay Z‘s daughter Blue Ivy would be the perfect additions to team up with Alicia’s son, Egypt and Hudson‘s son, David Jr. Did anyone forget aboutNorth West?

According to E! News, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson just need a name for the band since the team looks complete.

“Rocket and Munch [David Jr.]! OMG, they’re like in a band. They’re in the studio together,” Hudson excitedly told E! News when she was told of the idea.

There was a moment of trying to see who else should be included, but these four seemed pretty solid. Plus, “that’s enough ’cause they can’t split up their money too far,” Jennifer added.

“I think that’s a great combination. Blue and Munch still have yet to meet. Munch and Egypt have met. Munch and Rocket are buddies, cause I worked with Pharrell in the studio with my album and both Munch and Rocket were there. They love each other.”

On the new film, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete, Jennifer Hudson confessed it was not so easy playing a bad mom (always high on cock and alcohol) to an amazing son (Mister) who loves her so much.Alicia Keys provided soundtrack for the film which talks about two young boys –Mister and Pete- who struggle to survive in life despite their poor backgrounds and no-loving mothers. The film also stars former American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks.
